About Parchaan

Parchaan started with a feeling — that quiet warmth you get when something reminds you of home.

Of colours you grew up around. Of the crafts your dadi or nani loved. Of markets that smelled like mitti, print, and fresh fabric.

I wanted to build something that doesn’t just sell products, but carries forward the identity of India’s local crafts. Something that feels culturally rooted but still fits into the life of a college student, a young person building his/her first home, or someone who craves pieces that actually mean something.

Parchaan isn’t a big brand.

It’s a small, heartfelt initiative that started with me exploring local markets, meeting artists, and realising how many beautiful crafts from India are slowly fading because people don’t even get to see them.

So I built Parchaan as a space where:

Indian crafts meet modern taste
Local artists get the recognition they deserve
You can find jewellery, clothing, diaries, bags, and little pieces of culture
Everything is sourced within India — from India, for India

Nothing here is mass-produced.

Nothing is “factory perfect.”

Everything carries the character, colours, and little imperfections of the people who make them.

Parchaan is for people who love things with a story.

People who want to support local crafts without losing their aesthetic.

People who want culture to feel cool, not outdated.

If you’ve ever felt drawn to Indian arts, if you’ve ever picked something up because it reminded you of home, or if you just want to own pieces that feel special — you’re in the right place.

This brand is my identity.

And I hope, in some small way, it becomes a part of yours too. 💛
